Reception staff were excellent (in particular Jamie and James). The room was spacious and the hotel ambience excellent. The duty manager dealt with a check in delay and cleanliness complaint we had very well.

Clean spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The soaps and shower gels were briliant! Great location and generous breakfast. Very comfortable bed and all the towels you could possibly need!

I got a free upgrade, which was lovely. I had asked for a quiet room and that was exactly what I got. Location was walkable to Southern Cross station (one of the reasons I picked it), even with a heavy suitcase. Only 5 - 10 mins walk to various areas of the CBD. I checked out early as had a train to catch, which was then cancelled so they kindly let me check back in to my room. Room was huge for one person (no complaints!), lovely bathroom. Very large and very comfortable bed. People working there were lovely. I didn't use the swimming pool and spa facilties so can't comment on them. Also, Ritz-Carlton is 1 min walk away and they have an amazing rooftop lounge and bar with incredible views.

Fabulous inner-city hotel with excellent facilities. Great decor, exceptionally clean and comfortable, friendly, and efficient staff. The room was comfortable and well equipped with Elemis toiletries and a coffee machine, and new beds, gorgeously soft and cool white linen. The buffet breakfast worked really well for our family. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The location is great, we could walk to Yarra entertainment area and lots of shopping areas. It's a few minutes' walk to the nearest tram stop within the free service zone. We would definitely return to the Dorsett hotel and highly recommend it.

A modern, well located hotel in West Melbourne CBD. Great location near Southern Cross Railway Terminal and within easy walking distance of MARVEL Stadium. Cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, with an excellent gym and indoor pool. Buffet breakfast is good quality, plentiful and good value, when pre-booked on check in. Stayed in a King Deluxe room which was comfortable and roomy enough for 2 people. Bathroom amenity was very good (excellent shower) and well stocked for toiletries.

The rooms were spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The gym had a variety of staple equipment. The pool, sauna, spa, jacuzzi area was big enough to host a lot of people and was kept clean. Location is right next to Southern Cross station and is surrounded by many restaurants and cafes.

The hotel has a very lovely lobby and the breakfast was great. They had a very good selection. The swimming pool and the sauna were lovely although the steam room at the time of stay wasn’t working. We had a two double bed room which was very nice.
